Hurricane Michael remains one of the most devastating natural disasters in the United States, ranked as the third most intense Atlantic hurricane to make landfall in the United States. This is in addition to being the strongest storm on record in the Florida Panhandle and the fourth-strongest landfalling hurricane in the United States. The hurricane led to the destruction of properties, consequently rendering thousands of people homeless and vulnerable to diseases. Corporate bodies and individuals have however sprung into action to salvage what is left of affected areas and provide support to victims of the hurricane.
Pallet Consultants has collaborated with companies near its headquarters to raise pallets of goods that were delivered to the Panhandle of South Florida, one of the worst-hit areas, on Monday, October 22. The collaboration led to the collection of goods to help anyone from infancy to the elderly. Food, water, Toiletries, household items, and non-prescription medical supplies among others were also provided to the victims of the hurricane.
Other companies that donated to the cause include: South Florida Manufacturing Association, Floridamakes, Kehe Foods, HD supply, Crystal Springs Bottled Water, BMC Freight International, Semi X Media, and countless of other generous individuals.
This is not the first time Pallet Consultants is providing support to hurricane victims, as the company has assisted in providing relief to those affected by hurricanes in the past including Harvey, Maria, Charlie, Irma, and Katrina.
